4. Data Processing When Using the Website

a) Log Files

    These tools help measure campaign effectiveness and optimize advertising. Data may be transferred to the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or via EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

f) Embedded Content (YouTube, Spotify)

Videos or audio content from external providers like YouTube and Spotify are only loaded after your consent. Once you agree, data (e.g. IP address, device info) may be transmitted to these providers.

Consent can be revoked via the switch below each embedded element.

g) Newsletter

You may sign up for our newsletter using a double opt-in process.
Collected data: surname, email address (optionally first name, date of birth).

We use rapidmail (Positive Group Deutschland GmbH) to manage and analyze newsletters.
Data are deleted upon unsubscription unless retention is legally required.

h) Social Media Accounts

We maintain official pages on Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), and TikTok.
When visiting or interacting with these accounts, data are processed jointly with the respective platform under Art. 26 GDPR.
Your data may also be processed outside the EU.

i) Flag Bearer Vote

For voting functions, anonymized IP addresses and the selected option are stored temporarily to ensure fair voting and prevent multiple submissions.
