Terms and Conditions of Participation – Ticket Prize Draw “Olympic Hospitality Package Ice Hockey” .

The following terms govern participation in the “Olympic Hospitality Package Ice Hockey” prize draw (“Prize Draw”) on the Team D website at [https://www.teamdeutschland.de/olympic-hospitality-package-icehockey ] between the participant (“Participant”, meaning persons of all genders) and Deutsche Sport Marketing GmbH, Otto-Fleck-Schneise 12, 60528 Frankfurt/Main (“DSM”) as the organizer of the Prize Draw. 

The promotion is not administered, organized, or conducted by the IOC. The IOC assumes no liability or responsibility for any claims arising in connection with participation in the promotion or any prize awarded. Only residents of Germany may participate in the promotion. 

By taking part in the Prize Draw, the Participant confirms that they have read and accepted these terms of participation. 

1. Who may participate?

Any natural person who is at least 18 years old at the time of participation and has their place of residence in Germany may participate. Each Participant may only enter once. Participation is only permitted personally by the Participant. Participation via sweepstakes/prize-draw agencies or other third parties who charge a fee for their services is not permitted. Employees of DSM, companies affiliated with DSM (in particular the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) and DOSB New Media GmbH), employees of DSM cooperation partners, as well as athletes of Team D and Team D Paralympics who are or were involved in organizing the Prize Draw, are excluded from participation. Any violation of this rule leads to the Participant’s complete exclusion from the Prize Draw.

2. How can I participate?

Participation in the Prize Draw is free of charge. There is no right or entitlement to participate. Participation is possible online via the Team D website at [https://www.teamdeutschland.de/olympic-hospitality-package-icehockey ]. To enter, the Participant—who must meet the requirements of Section 1—must answer a question correctly and complete the required fields (in particular first name, last name, email address).

3. How is the winner determined and contacted?

The Prize Draw runs from 13/10/2025 at 08:00 until 29/11/2025 at 23:59 (the “Prize Draw Period”). The winner (“Winner”) will generally be determined from all Participants who meet the requirements of Section 1 by an automatic random draw after the end of the respective Prize Draw Period. One Winner is determined per Prize Draw Period.

The Winner will be informed via the email address provided pursuant to Section 2. Within three (3) business days of the prize notification, the Winner must provide DSM, via this contact channel, any further contact details requested for prize fulfillment. If the Winner does not confirm acceptance of the prize within this period via this contact channel and/or does not provide correct contact details, the claim to the prize lapses without substitution. In this case, DSM is free to determine a replacement winner using the same procedure. DSM’s decisions regarding the Winner are final. Related inquiries cannot be answered. There is no obligation to accept the prize. The prize will not be paid out in cash and is non-transferable.

4. What can I win and how do I receive the prize?

The prize for the respective Prize Draw Period is as advertised in connection with the Prize Draw (the “Prize”). The item advertised in connection with the Prize Draw and the actual Prize do not necessarily have to be identical; deviations (e.g., in scope, color, equipment, etc.) are possible. Depending on the nature of the Prize in the individual case, the Prize will be sent to the Winner by DSM and/or a partner designated by DSM using the contact details provided by the Winner pursuant to Section 3.

All costs and expenses that may be associated with claiming or using the Prize are the responsibility of the Winner. For the “Olympic Hospitality Package Ice Hockey” Prize Draw, this particularly concerns travel to and from the event. All taxes and duties arising in connection with the Prize are the Winner’s responsibility.

5. Changes, interruption, and termination of the Prize Draw

DSM reserves the right to change the ongoing Prize Draw and the modalities of its execution at any time without prior notice. Participants affected by such changes will be informed in an appropriate manner. Any prize claim that has already arisen effectively and irrevocably will not be affected in any way by DSM. Furthermore, DSM reserves the right to interrupt or terminate the Prize Draw at any time without prior notice.

6. Liability

DSM is liable without limitation for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence by DSM or by DSM’s legal representatives or vicarious agents in connection with the Prize Draw. In the case of simple negligence, DSM is also liable without limitation in the event of injury to life, body, or health. Otherwise, DSM is only liable insofar as DSM has breached a material contractual obligation, i.e., an obligation on whose fulfillment the Participant could rely at the time of participation pursuant to Section 2 (cardinal obligation). In such cases, liability is limited to compensation for the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

DSM assumes no responsibility for entries that do not reach DSM (e.g., due to equipment failures, technical disruptions, system, satellite, network, server, computer hardware, or software failures of any kind).

7. Data protection information

In consideration for participation in the Prize Draw, the Participant grants DSM the right to use the email address and name provided in connection with participation not only for the purpose of conducting the Prize Draw but also for sending comprehensive information, including promotional content, about Team D events and offers (in particular the Team D newsletter). This right also includes DSM’s ability to send the Participant the above-described content within newsletters from affiliated companies and partners [https://www.teamdeutschland.de/partner/team-d-partner]. Participation in the Prize Draw is therefore only possible if the DSM newsletter is subscribed to in return. The legal basis for the data processing is thus the performance of a contractual relationship pursuant to Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR.

8. Governing law and legal recourse

The legal relations between Participants and DSM as well as these terms of participation are governed exclusively by German law. To the extent permitted by law, legal recourse is excluded.

DSM is neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

9. Severability clause

Should individual provisions of these terms of participation be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by an appropriate regulation that most closely reflects the purpose of the invalid provision.
