Attention Olympic fans: The German Fan Zone in Cortina is calling! 

At the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina, guests can expect a very special highlight in the mountains: The German Fan Zone will be setting up camp in the Dolomites this year – becoming the alpine meeting point for everyone who wants to celebrate, support, and experience Team Germany and the Olympics up close.

The grounds of the Cortina Golf Club, not far from the competition venues for bobsleigh, luge, skeleton, women's alpine skiing, and curling, will be Team Germany's home for the duration of the Olympic Games. Join us – admission is free.

F.A.Q. TEam D FAN ZONE

Here you will find answers to your frequently asked questions:

The address for the German House and Team D Fan Zone is: Località Fraina, 14/15, 32043 Cortina d'Ampezzo BL, Italy.

From February 6, 2026, to February 22, 2026, the Team D Fan Zone will be open daily from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Olympic Games

You can reach the German House in Cortina either by car or by local public transport:

Car: You can drive your own car to one of the designated P+R parking lots in Dobbiaco, San Vito, or Longarone and then take public transport to the center of Cortina d'Ampezzo. 

Public transportation: Regular buses run to the center of Cortina d'Ampezzo from both the train station in Dobbiaco (north of Cortina d'Ampezzo) and the train station in Calalzo di Cadore (south of Cortina d'Ampezzo).  The exact departure times have not yet been published and will be announced at a later date.

From the town center, (https://maps.app.goo.gl/csgMLvJKeeBYopLj6) a Team Germany shuttle bus will run to the fan zone and the German House between 12:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. 

Please allow plenty of time for your departure from the fan zone in particular – departure times may be subject to change on site, both for public transport and the Team D shuttle, due to traffic conditions and weather. Waiting times may be expected.

Alternatively, you can reach the Fan Zone and the German House from the city center in about 30-45 minutes on foot.

Please check the official website of the Olympic Games (Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Stadium and Winter Games Venues),  for the latest information on arriving in and departing from Cortina by selecting one of the competition venues in Cortina.

 

No, there is no parking available for visitors.

No, admission is free and no ticket is required. However, you should allow some time for access and security checks.

Re-entry is possible until the maximum capacity of the Team D Fan Zone is reached. In this case, waiting times are to be expected.
